We’re not only selling a product or service to our customers - we’re selling ourselves. Sometimes it’s B2C, sometimes it’s B2B, but it’s always Human to Human.

Yes, we’re experts in what we’re selling, but to find out the how and why, we need to become experts in who we’re selling to. For this, we need another set of tools to draw on...

Being mindful of the strict parameters we have to work in when selling complex products, it’s important we find the space to build a genuine connection, relationship and understanding. We need to shelve our personal agendas, embrace the unknown, and listen to understand rather than respond. By using deep ‘active listening’ techniques to engage with the person across from us, we can become more confident, flexible, and responsive in the moment.

We will help you to understand the legitimate concerns of another and keep the door open for common ground. You can have all the facts and figures, the perfect ‘pitch’, but if you fail to create an environment of trust you’ll come short.

By the end of this session you will be able to adopt a playful “Yes, And...” perspective. Being truly present, responding comfortably in a flexible and agile way to new information, and going ‘off-script’ when needed, will empower and enable this perspective leading to an impactful pitch and meaningful relationship.

During our interactive workshop, we share impactful exercises, rooted in the principles of improvisation, to break down old habits and improve listening and communication.

The class is not about being funny and you won’t be put on the spot, so don’t worry about that. It is about listening, being present, and giving the exercises a go. We’ll ask the group to engage with our philosophies, principles, and lessons from years of working with creatives and businesses, alike.
